INSPIRED BY THE KING is the title of the theme with which Frank Anthony will celebrate his #40th anniversary in 2024.

 

Performed with great success as an Elvis sound and look-a-like nationally & internationally, in various Dutch television programs including Ivo Niehe, Catherine (RTL 4), Ushi & Van Dijk

(SBS 6) and several times in the Holland Casino television commercials, All You Need Is Love, Strictly Come Dancing.

To mark the 25th anniversary of The King's death on August 16, 2002, a special memorial concert was given during the LOWLANDS festival, followed by another invitation to give a concert at the prestigious LOWLANDS festival in 2003.

A MOJO Theater Tour along more than twenty Dutch theaters in 2003 and 2004 (coaching by Koos van Dijk, manager Herman Brood & Willem Venema.)

Various festivals soon came with invitations such as DAUWPOP 2005, PAAPOP 2006 and NIJMEEGSE VIERDAAGSE PARTIES 2006/2009.

In 2005, Frank Anthony was also the first Elvis tribute artist with Gospel church concerts in the Netherlands.

Just before Christmas 2005, Frank Anthony had a stroke, hospitalized on IC, and started recovery the next few months until Easter 2006 and made his first appearance again during Passpop 2006.

Also the first Dutch Elvis with a concert in honor of 'Elvis 35th Anniversary' in 2008, an ALOHA FROM HAWAII - 1973 concert in the atmospheric Maaspoorthal in Den Bosch with an orchestra consisting of 50 musicians.

 

Frank Anthony is a popular artist within the celebrity circuit. In addition to concerts with Trijntje Oosterhuis and Roel van Velzen, he performed at the wedding of Reinout Oerlemans and Danielle Overgaag.

Frank Anthony has also gained popularity abroad, including the United States, Thailand, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France and Italy, due to his 'outstanding performances'.

 

In 2019, Frank Anthony celebrated his #35 anniversary as an Elvis Tribute Artist, an unprecedented milestone, continued by the Covid year (2019/2020), which made performances impossible for every musician, artist and band, including Frank Anthony.

 

In the summer of 2021, it was determined that open heart surgery (5x bypass) was necessary for Frank Anthony. In recent months he has worked hard on his rehabilitation.

 

During a small Elvis meeting (Kruisland / Organisatie Rockin' Wouw), Frank Anthony performed a duet with Fonzo Reno, the very first time live in front of an audience.

August 2022 finally sees the expected comeback of Frank Anthony, Live On Stage, together with the best Dutch rock 'n' roll band The Explosion Rockets during the famous Rock 'n Roll festival Rockin' Wouw.

However, again after working hard on his comeback, a setback, in October 2023, Frank Anthony had an unfortunate fall and suffered a leg / hip fracture.

Resulting in surgery & rehabilitation.

 

From now on (2024), Frank Anthony is available for performances, both solo and as a guest for musical projects, events, Elvis meetings, charity & good causes, TV and radio programs etc. etc.

 

After more than 40 years, still one of Dutch best Elvis Tribute Artists, a 'Die-Hard', alive & kicking, with integrity & dignity in delivering the legacy of The King Of Rock 'n Roll,
